Abstract (en)
The paint roller comprises a cylindrical sleeve whose external surface is provided with a paint application lining. Two flanges (8) are assembled on the two front openings of the sleeve. Two bearings (21) connected to the flanges are gripped on a support shaft enabling relative rotation between the flanges and sleeve and the shaft. The sleeve bearings allowing rotation relative to the shaft consist of plastic bearings between the flanges and the flange bearings. One of these bearings has a longitudinal slit gripping part (22). The flange bearing is defined by complementary shaped structures (23,29,24,28) on the external surface of the bearing and on the internal surface of the facing flange.

L'invention concerne un rouleau à peindre à emmanchement (1) comprenant : un manchon cylindrique (2) dont la surface extérieure est pourvue d'une garniture (7) permettant l'application d'une peinture, deux flasques (8) assemblés respectivement sur deux ouvertures frontales du manchon (2), et deux coussinets (21, 31) en prise respectivement avec les flasques (8) pour être liés axialement à ceux-ci et adaptés pour être serrés sur un arbre (5) support afin d'immobiliser l'arbre à translation par rapport aux flasques (8) et au manchon (2), tout en autorisant une rotation relative entre ces derniers et l'arbre (5). Ce rouleau consiste en ce que les paliers de rotation du manchon (2) par rapport à l'arbre (5) sont définis exclusivement par des paliers de rotation plastique sur plastique entre les flasques (8) et les coussinets (21, 31). <IMAGE>
