[origin: EP0769392A1] The appliance comprises first and second units which are connected by a conveyor section (12) which has a device (17) for altering the angular position of a ring coil connection (1) in relation to its longitudinal axis. At least one part of the conveyor section is in the form of a slide track (14). The ring coil connection is slid transversely axially along the slide track by a pusher (18). A magnet (17) provides retention force and is positioned beneath the track of the ring coil connection.
