Abstract (en)

A sectional door is of the tambour type. It is surrounded by a frame profile within the door opening and comprises a sheet formed by horizontal, mutually parallel and articulated, linked sections. The door has a sealing strip around the frame profile, which is adjustable. Preferably, the sealing strips are located on the horizontal upper and both vertical sides of the door opening. The strip is one-piece and may have a tubular profile. In the sealing region it has a Q-shaped cross section. The seal has a covering strip which may be rubber. There is a further seal between the frame and the door opening which is made of ethylene-propylene (EPDM) foam rubber and has a rectangular profile.

Um ein Sektionaltor mit einem aus bezüglich einer zu verschließenden und mit einer Zarge versehenen Toröffnung im wesentlichen horizontal verlaufenden, zueinander parallel angeordneten und gelenkig miteinander verbundenen Sektionen bestehenden Torblatt, welches ein im wesentlichen umlaufendes Rahmenprofil aufweist und mittels eines Antriebes bewegbar ist, dahingehend zu verbessern, daß dieses rauchdicht und auch stromlos sicher automatisch verschließbar ist, wird vorgeschlagen, daß zwischen dem Rahmenprofil und der Zarge eine Dichtungsleiste verstellbar angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
