Abstract (en)
The explosive charge (2) is situated inside an envelope (3) with a cover (4) at one end, which is converted into a projectile in the shape of a glove finger by the detonation. The cover has a thickness which reduces from its centre to its periphery, and there is a plate (6) between the cover and the charge to reduce the speed of transmission of the force from the charge's explosion to the periphery of the cover. The plate is made from a material which has a density below or equal to that of the cover, and a Hugoniot pressure limit of at least 0.1 GPa. The total mass of the plate is less than that of the cover. Where the cover is made from tantalum the plate can be of aluminium, iron, steel copper of molybdenum.

L'invention a pour objet une charge explosive (1) génératrice de noyau qui comporte un chargement explosif (2) disposé dans une enveloppe (3) et un revêtement (4) destiné à être mis en mouvement par la détonation de l'explosif, revêtement dont l'épaisseur décroît entre une partie centrale et sa périphérie en contact avec l'enveloppe, cette charge est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une plaque (6) disposée entre le chargement explosif (2) et le revêtement (4), plaque ayant un diamètre égal au diamètre interne de l'enveloppe (2) et qui est en contact avec le revêtement (4) au moins au niveau d'une partie périphérique (4b) amincie de celui-ci, le matériau de la plaque étant choisi tel qu'il diminue la vitesse communiquée à la partie périphérique du revêtement (4) par le chargement explosif (2) lors de son initiation. <IMAGE>
