Abstract (en)
The hook is attached to the vertical shaft (2) by a mounting portion (4) to which the hook body (5) is articulated. The hook body comprises an engagement portion (8) at the outer end shaped to define the suspension hook, and a cam portion (7) at the inner end which engages against the shaft surface to lock the hook against it. The hook portion includes a retaining tip (9) which is curved backwardly through more than 180 degrees towards the cam, such that its end point (10) is located above the engagement portion of the hook body. A diverting point (11) is defined on the inner surface of the hook body, pointing towards the inner surface of the retaining tip.

Crochet à blocage sur une tige, notamment du type tige de suspension à un cimaise, pour l'accrochage de tableaux et autres ouvrages d'art, comprenant une monture (4) sur laquelle est articulé un corps de crochet (5) comportant une partie d'accrochage (8) et une partie (7) formant came pour le blocage sur la tige. La partie d'accrochage (8) est prolongée vers le haut par un bec de retenue (9) recourbé à plus de 180° vers la partie formant came (7) de manière que sa pointe (10) soit située au-dessus de la partie d'accrochage (8) et soit retournée vers le bas lorsque le crochet se trouve en position de blocage sur la tige. De préférence le corps de crochet (5) comprend, en outre, entre la partie formant came (7) et la partie d'accrochage (8), une partie (11) formant un bec de déviation recourbé par-dessus la partie d'accrochage (8) de manière que sa pointe dirigée vers le bec de retenue (9) soit située au-delà d'une ligne reliant la partie d'accrochage (8) à la pointe (10) du bec de retenue (9). Application : notamment à l'accrochage de tableaux dans des galeries d'art et des musées. <IMAGE>
