The washing roller (7) can be simultaneously applied to two adjacent cylinders (2,4) of the offset printing machine. The rotary shaft of the washing roller is movable in the tangential contact plane (11) of the two cylinders. The peripheral speed of the washing roller is greater or lesser than that of the cylinders. The rotary movement of the washing roller is counter to that of the cylinder which is the dirtiest. The washing roller is arranged in an exchangeable cassette (6) which contains a moisturising device, a scraper and a catchment channel. A control unit moves the washing roller over the cylinder channels (12,13) and possibly gripper rows (14,15) of the two cylinders.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Waschvorrichtung zur Reinigung von Zylindern eines Offsetdruckwerkes mit einer drehend antreibbaren Waschwalze und einer Einrichtung zum Befeuchten der Waschwalze mit einer Waschflüssigkeit. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Waschvorrichtung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, die das gleichzeitige Reinigen zweier Zylinder eines Offsetdruckwerks in kurzer Zeit ermöglicht. Gelöst wird das dadurch, indem die Waschwalze 7 gleichzeitig an zwei benachbarte Zylinder 2, 4 des Offsetdruckwerks anstellbar ist, wobei vorzugsweise die Drehachse der Waschwalze 7 in der tangentialen Berührungsebene 11 der beiden Zylinder 2, 4 bewegbar ist. <IMAGE>
