Eine Anlage zur Wärmebehandlung von metallischem Glühgut (1, 12) mit einem Verteiler (3) für das aus Luft oder einem Gas bestehende Heiz- bzw. Kühlmittel, wobei der Verteiler (3) gegen das gegebenenfalls auf einer Transporteinrichtung (2) liegende Glühgut (1, 12) gerichtete, rohr- oder schlitzförmige Düsen (4, 4a) zur Bildung von Prallstrahlen aufweist. Um den Abstand des Düsenmundes von der Werkstückoberfläche verändern zu können, sind die Düsen (4, 4a) zur Vergrößerung des Abstandes zwischen Düsenmund und Glühgut (1, 12) mit zurückziehbaren Verlängerungen (5, 5a) versehen. <IMAGE>
