[origin: EP0770733A1] The piping system has grid elements arranged below the surface, in order to accept pipes, and to accept the pressure which is exerted on the surface. The elements may be laid out as segments (1) of a grille, and may have spacing webs (4) which cross one another. Grooves may be arranged in the elements in order to guide the pipes (7), and may each taper at the top (6) in order for the latter to lock into them. The pipes may also engage in the elements using snap connections. The grid elements may be connected together with joining grooves (3) and joining tongues (2).
