Date Feb. 1, 1996A packing is secured to a cylinder of a rotary printing machine. The ends of the packing have suspension strips that are placed in a cylinder channel. A tightening strip is movable radially in the cylinder channel. One suspension strip is held, by one side of the tightening strip, in a channel groove in the cylinder channel. The other suspension strip is movable radially in the cylinder channel by radial movement of the tightening strip.
