[origin: EP0771748A2] The device has at least two spindles arranged in a base (B) which is aligned horizontally. It also has at least one spindle which is arranged in a side boundary (SB) which is aligned vertically. Each spindle (SP) has a straight core with its longitudinal axis aligned in the direction of transport of the flat objects, and all the spindles are driven at the same rotational speed. The objects are guided in the threads of the spindles, and lie on their cores. The pitch and number of threads increases in the transport direction, in the same manner on all the spindles. The direction of rotation and the helix direction of the spindles are arranged so that the objects are aligned during transportation towards the edge which is between the base and the side boundary.
