Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0771996A2] The small gas cylinder (12) has a valve (14) and an external thread (15). It is attached to the burner by the coupling, which has a threaded connector (16) with a through bore. This bore has an internal thread (15) complementary to that of the cylinder. A compressor (18) with a through bore opens the valve. A clamping ring (19), divided into sectors, can be clamped against the mounting flange (13) of the cylinder. A transition piece (23) on the connector's end remote from the internal thread has an external thread (23a) with a diameter (D2) larger than that (D1) of the external thread of the gas cylinder. Preferably the transition piece has a threaded connection (24) to the connector.
