Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0772171A1] The detector consists of a housing (2) with an entry window (3) which is transparent for body radiation in the infrared region, a focussing lens (5) and a device for sabotage security with an active light source (8), an associated detector (9) and an evaluation and alarm output circuit on a circuit board (7). The sabotage security unit has an optically diffracting grid structure (4) integrated on the outside of the entry window and which focuses the light emitted by the light source onto the detector. The light source and detector can be mounted inside and outside the entry window respectively or vice-versa.
