Abstract (en)
An overcurrent fuse comprises a thin metallisation layer (3) applied on to a carrier sheet (2), the metallisation layer (3) being contacted by means of metal layers (4,5) formed by the Schoop flame-spraying or electro-spraying process. More specifically the fuse is formed from a stack of metallised carrier sheet layers, the metallisation being aluminium.
