Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0773068A2] The machine has a rotor space (2) containing a conveyor band (6) for supplying the wood to be pulverised and a rotary pulverising rotor (4). A suction fan (12) is positioned radially outside of the rotor for extraction of the pulverised wood chips, its axis extending at right angles to the rotor axis (1). Pref. a separation filter (18) is provided between the rotor and the fan determining the size of the pulverised wood chips fed out from the pulverising machine.
