Abstract (en)
The mechanism consists of a control member (1) which can be either a cam or crankshaft, connected to the valves (6) by master (2) and secondary (5) levers. The movement of each of the valves depends on the trajectory of the axis (3) connecting each master and secondary lever, which is governed by a guide slot (4). Each of the guide slots has a geometrical shape, straight or curved. This is a function of the kinematic law which governs the movement of the valve, e.g. a flattened S shape with two tangential curves facing in opposite directions. One of the two curves has a radius equivalent to the distance between the axes of the secondary lever and drawn from a point on the axis of the valve's travel inside the distribution cylinder (11).

L'invention concerne un dispositif mécanique destiné à l'actionnement d'un piston récepteur (6), suivant une loi cinématique qui est déterminée par la trajectoire imposée à l'axe (3), équipant la bielle maîtresse (2). Le dispositif comprend un organe de commande (1), excentrique ou vilebrequin, communicant le mouvement à l'axe (3), avec l'aide de la bielle maîtresse (2). L'axe (3) glisse, par ses extrémités, dans les rainures (4) usinées dans deux guides fixes, qui déterminent sa trajectoire. Une bielle secondaire (5), montée sur l'axe (3), transmet le mouvement au piston (6). Dans une version préférentielle de l'invention, les rainures (4) sont aventageusement remplacées par deux bielles, montées en parallèle sur les extrémités de l'axe (3), et oscillant sur un axe fixe, commun à toutes les deux. L'invention est particulierement destinée à l'actionnement d'une distribution par pistons, pour moteur de combustion interne. <IMAGE>
