Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0773609A1] The solderless connector plugs into a plated through hole in the printed circuit. The element (1) includes the nut (13) and rear handling section (10) which rests above the hole. The lower section of the nut is a protruding section (3). The section is arced in its longitudinal profile, and has a flattened off upper portion (8). The upper portion has a central slot (16) running longitudinally. The section shape allows flexing when the connector is forced into a plug.
