[origin: EP0773611A1] The wiring loom assembly system consists of a number of modules ÄI-IVÜ that are each supplied with wires from a container ÄFÜ and have th facility for cutting to specified lengths upto 3 metres. The cable fittings can be in the form of a contact with a blade section that cuts into the wire. The fittings are supplied by a feed unit Ä1Ü that has parallel feed tracks that lead to a carrier Ä2Ü on which the fittings are located in a pattern. They are then passed onto a buffer section to present the fitting to the ends of the wires in an alignment and fixing process.
