[origin: WO9417922A1] A tank cleaning system comprising a turbine and a gear box situated in a housing with an inlet and an outlet, wherein bypass means are provided between the turbine and the inlet. Said bypass means make it possible to lead part of the cleaning fluid past the turbine in order to adjust the speed of rotation of the turbine irrespective of the flow of cleaning fluid.
