[origin: WO9604444A1] A closing device (1) consists of a lock (3) and key (9). The key (9), which is to be inserted into a channel, is provided with codes for placing the tumblers of a tumbler holder (15, 16) that may be moved in the lock when the tumblers (20) are correctly placed by the key. The tumblers (20) are arranged in pockets (19, 19') of the tumbler holder (16) located in different positions. In order to modify the locking combination with normally designed tumblers, at least one pocket (19') is in communication with a complementary free space (24, 25) in the tumbler holder (16) built into the lock, so that the pocket (19') may be selectively fitted with a tumbler (magnetic pin 20).
