[origin: EP0774277A1] The curtain (10) has an upper end (11c) fastened to an overhead framework (21) of a structure (20) which is equipped with sprinklers (22). The curtain has two walls (11) which are joined together along their lower edges (11d) and vertical sides. The sprinklers are positioned so that they spray liquid onto the inner surface of at least one of the walls. At least one of the curtain's vertical edges has outlets for the liquid adjacent to its lower edge, linked to a recuperator. Additionally, the inside of the curtain has spacers (13) between the walls. The spacers are able to slide along a central strip or cable (15) and break under the weight of one wall of the curtain.
