[origin: DE19528885C1] The counter-pushing device is for a fork truck with a rising carriage (1) for the fork carrier (4). It has two diverting rollers (29,30) and an endless belt (31) passed over them with upper and lower ends (32,35) each merging with a carrier part (34,37), one of which can be moved by a power drive (39). The vertical guide is formed by an independent guide rail (28) which can be mounted on the top edge of the fork carrier. This rail carries the diverting rollers with the endless belt, both carrier parts and the drive. The carrier parts act with the top ends of the fork backs (11,12).
