[origin: DE19543208C1] Ag-Fe material comprises 4.6-15 wt.% Fe, and 0.05-5 wt.% oxides of Mg, Ca, Y, La, Ce, Cr, Al, In, Fe, Si and Sn, and a balance of Ag. The material contains 0.2-1.5 wt.% of the oxide additives. The Fe content is 4.6-10 wt.%. The material esp. comprises 4.6-6 wt.% Fe, and 0.2-1.2 wt.% oxide additives.

Silber-Eisen-Werkstoffe für elektrische Schaltkontakte mit Eigenschaften, die den Silber-Nickel-Werkstoffen sehr nahe kommen, bestehen aus 4,6 bis 15 Gew.% Eisen und 0,05 bis 5 Gew.% von einem oder mehreren der oxidischen Zusätze Magnesiumoxid, Calziumoxid, Yttriumoxid, Lanthanoxid, Ceroxid, Chromoxid, Aluminiumoxid, Indiumoxid, Eisenoxid, Siliziumoxid und Zinnoxid, Rest Silber.
