Abstract (en)
The smoke chimney in a building is assembled from a number of pipe sections (5), shaped at one end into an expanded muff (6) to take the end (7) of the neighbouring pipe section. A ring (1), made of a woven ceramic material, has a conical mantle surface for insertion round the pipe joint. The ring height is greater than the depth of the muff. The smaller diameter end of the ring lies in a tight seal round the end of the straight pipe section inserted into the muff. The woven ceramic ring material contains axial metal filaments, and the material is impregnated with talcum or graphite.

Ein aus mehreren Rohrabschnitten (5) aufgebautes Rauchrohr, dessen Rohrabschnitte an einem Ende jeweils zu einer erweiterten Muffe (6) geformt sind, in welche das jeweils andere Rohrende (7) des daran anschließenden Rohrabschnitts eingefügt ist. Die Rohrabschnitte 5 sind mittels eines aus Keramikgewebe bestehenden Halte- und Dichtrings (1) befestigt und abgedichtet. Der Ring (1) hat im Ausgangszustand eine konische Mantelfläche. <IMAGE>
