[origin: WO9419071A1] A front clamp for a safety ski binding with a housing (1) and twotwo-armed angle levers (9a, 9b) which can pivot in a substantially vertical axis on a pillow block (6) which can move to a limited extent in the housing and engage with a release plate (25) which is fitted to pivot on the housing (1) and to which is applied the force of a release spring (14) via a tensioner (28) acting in the forward direction. The forward end of the tensioner (28) engages with a spring support (15) movable along a central bolt (16) and the central bolt (16) is supported on the front face of the housing (1) via a bolt head (17) and connected via a thread (18) to a spring support plate (19) to which the force of the release spring (14) is applied.
