Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19601396A1] A halogen lamp in a base using no putty has the wide sides of the neck seal (10) each equipped with a shaped guide leg (50) running parallel to the small side. The two legs are off-centre and displaced sideways from each other on the opposite sides of the seal. There are two support tabs which lie on each wide side of the seal, each with a recess for a guide leg. The width of the recess is bigger than the width of the corresponding leg. The legs with the support tabs act as shoulders on each side of the seal.
