Abstract (en)
The bracelet clasp has a base (1) and a leaf (2) which can fold down on the base. The leaf and the base are fastened together at their ends by a spindle (3). The other end of the leaf has a fixing (6) for the bracelet's first link (8). A cover (10) locks the leaf in the folded down position on the base. The cover is mounted on the base by a spindle (11) which allows it to tip laterally relative to the bracelet longitudinal direction. A push button (12) in the base locks the cover on the base. A spring (13) supported under the cover raises the cover when a pressure is exerted on the push button to open the clasp. The spring has a ball (14) mounted in a blind tube (15) forced into the base. The tube top is crimped so as to retain the ball. A return spring (17) is placed between the ball and the tube bottom.

Le fermoir de bracelet est du type à boucle déployante comportant une base (1) et deux lames (2, 4) susceptibles de se rabattre sur la base. Un couvercle (10) retenu par un poussoir (12) maintient le fermoir en position de fermeture. Le fermoir comprend des moyens (13) de soulèvement instantané du couvercle (10) quand on exerce une pression sur le poussoir (12) pour ouvrir le fermoir. Ce dispositif évite une fermeture à cran qui mène à une manoeuvre laborieuse pour ouvrir ce fermoir. Accessoirement les brins du bracelet (8, 9) sont articulés sur les lames (2, 4) ce qui permet de présenter le bracelet à plat. <IMAGE>
