Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0775531A2] The method involves monitoring the delivery of liquid to a material via nozzles (16). The liquid spray cone (18) emitted by each nozzle is detected by an electrooptical monitoring unit (24) and compared with a reference image. A warning signal or a signal to cause shut down of the process is generated when the electrooptical monitoring unit detects a deviation of the acquired image greater than a defined threshold value.
