Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0775534A2] The system comprises a cleaning station which has a passage (10) receiving workpieces (20). A transporter device (24) places the workpiece inside the passage where it is cleaned and then removes the cleaned workpiece from the passage. The passage has an outlet for used air. Air is directed through nozzles onto the workpiece in the passage. An air conveyor (38) is designed so that each nozzle (14) delivers a minimum of approximately 600 m<3>/h air at a maximum pressure of approximately 0.5 bar. A cleaning liquid delivery nozzle (50) provides between approximately 3 and 15 l/h of cleaning liquid to the air stream, downstream of the air supply. A separator (34) separates the used cleaning liquid from the used air.
