[origin: EP0775575A2] The adjusting device has sheet guide elements on the drive side (AS) and on the operating side (BS), each of which have jointly driven adjustments. A drive mechanism (3) can be connected to adjustments on one or both of the two machine sides (AS,BS). The drive mechanism can be connected to a first chain wheel (7) on the drive side engaging with a chain (1) driving the adjustments of the sheet guide elements on this machine side. Alternatively, the drive mechanism can be connected to a second chain wheel (8) on the operating side and engaging with a chain driving the adjustments of the sheet guide elements on this machine side. The drive mechanism can be simultaneously connected to both chain wheels. The drive mechanism consists of a crankshaft (3) and the two chain wheels.
