[origin: EP0775595A1] A recording material comprising at least one thermosensitive element, comprising a substantially light-insensitive organic silver salt and an organic reducing agent therefor in thermal working relationship therewith, on a support, characterized in that an outermost layer of said recording material comprises at least one solid lubricant having a melting point below 150 DEG C and at least one liquid lubricant in a binder, wherein at least one of said lubricants is a phosphoric acid derivative. The outermost layer of the recording material in contact with the heat source during the thermal image forming process may be the outermost layer of the thermosensitive element, a protective layer applied to the thermosensitive element or a layer on the opposite side of the support to the thermosensitive element.
