Abstract (en)
The container contains at least one enclosed chamber (7) separated from the useful load and containing pourable, free-flowing or gaseous extinguisher material for reducing the fire risk tendency of the mounting or transporter structure. The at least one chamber is positioned in the lid and or bottom (1) of the container and is formed by a ridged (6) wall and or bottom element, and a cover plate (5) fixed to the ridges. The extinguisher material is contained in a tightly sealed bag and is in the form of water, powder and or foaming agent.

Das Lager- bzw. Transportgebilde aus Kunststoff kann zum Beispiel als Behälter mit Boden (1) und Seitenwänden (2) ausgestaltet sein. Im Boden sind mehrere Kammern (7) angeordnet, in denen ein Löschmedium (8) angeordnet ist. Bei einem Brand verzögert das Wasser die Erwärmung des Behälters. Sobald es aus den Kammern (7) austritt, entfaltet es eine lokale Löschwirkung im Bereich der Brandfront. Im Gegensatz zu chemischen, in das Kunststoffmaterial eingebrachten Brandhemmern entstehen bei der vorliegenden Lösung keine giftigen Dämpfe bzw. Abfallstoffe. <IMAGE>
