[origin: EP0775878A1] The refrigeration medium collector (1) has a collection container (2) enclosed by a heat-insulation layer (3), provided on its outside with fixings (22) for securing the refrigeration medium collector. An air gap (8) may be provided between the heat-insulation layer and the enclosed collection container, by ribs formed on the inside surface of the heat-insulation layer. The latter may be provided as a heat-insulation container in which the collection container is fitted before closure by a cooperating cover (6).
