The lamp has a light shield (12) for screening the lamp filament (6) for the dipped headlamp beam, provided with an opening (14) through which one end (6a) of the filament is fitted. Preferably the end of the filament fitted through this opening is welded to a current lead (8a) on the rear of the light shield. The opening may be formed in the light shield via an electron beam or a laser beam.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Glühlampe mit Abblendkappe, insbesondere eine Zweifaden-Halogenglühlampe und ein Herstellungsverfahren für eine derartige Lampe sowie eine Abblendkappe. Die Abblendkappe (12) weist einen Durchbruch (14) auf, durch den ein Ende (6a) der Abblendlichtglühwendel (6) hindurchgefädelt ist. Dieses Wendelende (6a) ist mit der Rückseite der Abblendkappe (12) oder mit einem Stromzuführungsdraht (8a) verschweißt, der durch eine Buckelschweißung an der Rückseite der Abblendkappe (12) fixiert ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Befestigung der Abblendlichtwendel (6) ermöglicht Materialeinsparungen bei der Abblendkappe (12) und eine kostengünstigere Lampenfertigung. <IMAGE>
