[origin: EP0776144A1] The circuit is used for a pair of signals (L,R) provided by a signal source (q), which are divided into signal components (s1-s6), and selectively combined to provide a pair of modified signals (L',R'). A first combining stage (K1) combines two signal components (s1,s2) obtained from the first signal (L), provided by the source, with a third signal (s3) obtained from the second signal, provided by the source. A second combining stage (K2) similarly combines two signal components (s4,s5), obtained from the second signal, with a signal (s6) obtained from the first signal.
