[origin: WO9638009A1] The present invention provides a radiotelephone switching system (60) and a method of providing subscriber services within a radiotelephone communication system (100). In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a switch (110), typical of switches presently used in a telephone communication systems, is coupled to a processing platform (112) for enhancing its functional capabilities. The processing platform includes a trigger manager (124) for accessing a plurality of service modules (128) designed to provide services to the subscribers/users of the radiotelephone communication system.
