[origin: EP0776618A2] The two work tables (1) are interlinked by a connecting plate and have a support foot (15) on their outer sides (13). The foot supports the tables by their front and rear areas against tipping towards the ground. The tables on their linkage face sides in the rear table plate corner area have a further foot (19). The additional foot is located in a rear table plate area in relation to the depth of the work table or its work plate (3). The rear table plate area is less than 25 per cent of the total depth of the work table or table plate. The two interlinked work tables are at least indirectly connected to one another on their linkage face sides (5) by a tip-free, non-warping support rail (29).
