[origin: EP0771577A1] The coupling assembly (A), designed to fit into the front aperture (11) of a respirator mask (2), has a generally cylindrical outer guide surface (22) which lies perpendicular to its positioning surface and fits against a front shoulder (12) in the aperture (11) on the assembly. The guide surface also has a peripheral groove containing a seal (24), e.g. toroid in shape with a circular cross-section. The assembly incorporates a respirator system (8) with at least one antechamber, an inhaler (26) and an exhalation valve (29). It can also have speech membrane (31) and/or a protective grille (32), which can form a one-piece unit with fixing elements, e.g. of a moulded synthetic material - a polyamide such as Noryl (RTM).

L'invention concerne un oculaire (1) destiné à un masque de protection respiratoire (2), comprenant une paroi transparente (9) incurvée limitée par un bord extérieur incurvé (4) et pourvue d'une ouverture (11) avec laquelle est destiné à coopérer un groin, par rapport au masque (2) pourvu de l'oculaire (1) se trouvant dans la position correspondant à un porteur ayant la tête droite et l'axe de vision (S) horizontal, l'oculaire (1) comporte une partie supérieure (13) formant le champ binoculaire usuel du porteur et dont la forme dite sphéro-conique est engendrée par le déplacement d'un arc de cercle (C) tournant, sur un secteur donné, autour d'un axe de révolution (16) situé dans le plan de symétrie vertical de la tête du porteur, incliné sur l'horizontale et la verticale et passant sensiblement dans ou à proximité de la zone médiane du cerveau du porteur (R) et de la zone des lèvres. <IMAGE>
