Mechanically and/or electrochemically roughened and optionally anodically oxidised aluminium (alloy) substrates provided with a hydrophilic layer comprising at least one polymer with basic and acidic groups uses a two-component mixture for the hydrophilic layer, one component (A) being an amino acid and the other (B) belonging to the group of polymers with acidic and basic groups. Also claimed are: (i) the preparation of these substrates by applying an aqueous solution of the two-component mixture onto the substrate surface; and (ii) signs comprising the above substrates with a hydrophilic layer coated with a radiation-sensitive material.
Abstract (de)
Ein mechanisch und/oder elektrochemisch aufgerauhtes und gegebenenfalls anodisch oxidiertes Trägermaterial aus Aluminium oder seinen Legierungen wird in einem einstufigen Verfahren mit einer hydrophilierenden Schicht in wäßriger Lösung beschichtet. Die hydrophilierende Schicht umfaßt zwei Komponenten, von denen die eine zu den Polymeren mit basischen und sauren Zentren und die andere zur Gruppe der Aminosäuren gehört. Aus dem hydrophilierten Trägermaterial wird durch Auftragen einer strahlungsempfindlichen Schicht ein Aufzeichnungsmaterial, von dem Offsetdruckplatten hergestellt werden.
