Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0776833A1] The package, made from a non-polluting sheet material such as card, consists of a base (1) with a recess (3) for the packaged article (B). The recess is made from flaps (33, 77; 35, 79) cut out and folded downwards from the upper surface (9) of the base, the edges (29, 87) of which are also folded down to give it depth and fastened by tongues (91) and slits (89). A cover (93) of similar material has a window (105) corresponding to the position of the recess so that the article contained can be seen without opening the package.
