[origin: WO9607568A1] An airline handset (10) for use in controlling the flow of compressed air to or from a pneumatic tyre in order to inflate or deflate the tyre, the handset including manually operable valve means (18A, 18G) controlling communication between first and second ports and between the second port and atmosphere, the handset includes display means (24) providing an indication of whether communication between the first and second ports, or between the second port and atmosphere is effected. There is also disclosed a handset including means for restricting flexing of an airline hose so as to minimize the risk of rupture of the hose by an internal coupler.
