[origin: WO9606046A1] A sewage clarification plant is disclosed, in particular a sewage clarification plant with a collecting and overflow basin for collecting solid-enriched liquids and a separator (2) for separating solids from liquids. The separator has a substantially circular cylindrical drum (5) and a solid-enriched liquid inlet-duct (4) inclined into the inside of the drum (5). The drum (5) is mounted to rotate around a vertical axis of rotation (8) and is driven by an engine (7). The drum (5) has a liquid-permeable screening envelope (9).
