Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19522746A1] the invention pertains to an electro-hydraulic control device (10) for a double-acting consumer (11). With two proportionally-operating 4/2-solenoid valves (12, 13), each with a seat valve function (26), and with the aid of two non-return valves (29, 38) of seat-valve design, a continuous adjustment of the volume to and from the consumer (11) is possible, a free-passage position being attainable as a fourth working position. The solenoid valves (12, 13) are of identical design and are connected in the volume flow to or from the consumer as appropriate. Each consumer connection (28, 36) is sealed by a seat valve function (26) of the solenoid valves (12, 13) and a non-return valve (29, 38). The solenoid valves (12, 13) have a main control member (57) and a precontrol member (58) which co-operate in the manner of a sequence control and require no separate pilot oil supply, so that large hydraulic efforts can be controlled continuously and with short response times.
