A heatable basic body (28) has a duct (29) exposed to the hot-melt adhesive. At least one finger (14) with at least one adhesive-duct discharges the adhesive onto the surface being coated. The finger is set vibrating by a drive mechanism (34). the finger is divided into a number of small plates (36a,b,c) each possessing a duct for adhesive. The plates are separately spring mounted in a direction coinciding with the discharge direction of the adhesive. A rotor (60,61) rotates the finger on a rotational axis parallel with the discharge direction of the adhesive. The adhesive applicator head (13) has a pivot link (68).

Zum Auftragen von Schmelzklebstoffen auf Schuhböden oder Sohlen bei der Schuhherstellung ist ein Klebstoff-Auftragkopf (13) vorgesehen, der einen beheizbaren Grundkörper (28) mit einem mit Klebstoff beaufschlagbaren Kanal (29,42,41,38) aufweist, an dem ein in Betrieb vibrierender Finger (14) gehalten ist. Der Finger (14) dient dem Klebstoffauftrag und weist dazu einen stirnseitig mündenden Kanal (38) auf, durch den der Schmelzklebstoff auf den Schuhboden geführt wird. In Betrieb massiert der Finger (14) den Schmelzklebstoff in die zu beschichtende Lederoberfläche ein. Der erkaltete Schmelzklebstoff ist inaktiv und kann zum Befestigen einer Sohle durch Erwärmen reaktiviert werden. <IMAGE>
