Abstract (en)
The funfair ride consists of a station where passengers get on and off, a track made from tubular rails with bends, climbs and descents, and vehicles for the passengers to ride in. Each vehicle comprises a wheeled platform and a separate body (4) which is pivoted to it and able to rotate within limits set by a cam (14), levers (16) with rollers (15) and shock absorbers applying equal and opposite forces. The cam is shaped so that the vehicle is returned to a stable, forward-facing position after it has pivoted. The cam has two stable positions which correspond to the vehicle travelling forwards or backwards, and the vehicle also has a mechanism which can lock it relative to the platform, comprising an angled lever, cams and a stop pin. Each vehicle is able to take four passengers, seated across it. It also has a safety bar and an outer guard rail.

L'invention concerne un manège pour fête foraine et parc d'attractions du type comprenant une gare d'embarquement et de débarquement de passagers dans des véhicules circulant sur un circuit de voie ferrée tubulaire (1) définissant des courbes, des montées et des descentes, lesdits véhicules (2) étant constitués d'une plate-forme roulante (3) et d'une nacelle (4) accueillant les passagers, la nacelle (4) étant constituée d'un habitacle indépendant de la plate-forme roulante (3) et étant montée pivotante sur ladite plate-forme roulante (3). L'invention consiste en ce que le véhicule (2) comporte des moyens propres à limiter le pivotement de la nacelle (4) et à la renvoyer vers une position avant stable, les passagers étant dans le sens de la marche du véhicule (2).
