Abstract (en)
The drill has spirals to clear cuttings and a cutter plate (6) at the end of the shaft (10) with hard metal cutters (7). The faces (3) at the end of the shaft project axially beyond the sides (2). The drill has pin-shaped guides (11) near the end. Its longitudinal axis (L) is perpendicular to the shaft axis (A), and embedded into the shaft. The outer end face of the guide has a radial projection (r) beyond the side surface of the shaft. This is less than the radial projection (s) of the cutter plate. Several pins may be included, paired across diameters, in quadrants of the shaft.

Ein Drehschlag-Wendelbohrer besitzt einen Schaft (1), der wenigstens eine, spiralförmig in seinem Mantel verlaufende Hauptabfuhmut (4) für Bohrklein aufweist. An seinem einen Schaftende (10) ist eine Schneidplatte (6) mit Hartmetallschneiden (7) vorgesehen, welche die Stimfläche (3) des Schaftendes (10) axial und den Mantel (2) des Schaftes (1) radial überragt. Im Bereich des Schaftendes (10) ist wenigstens ein stiftförmiges Führungselement (11) in den Schaft (11) eingebettet, wobei seine Längsachse im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Längsachse (A) des Schaftes (1) verläuft. Die freie Stimfläche (12) des stiftförmigen Führungselementes (11) weist gegenüber dem Mantel (2) des Schaftes (1) einen Überstand auf, der kleiner ist als der radiale Überstand der Schneidplatte (6). <IMAGE>
