[origin: EP0778591A1] The cable manufacturing machine produces twisted pair cables with two or more pairs (11) of insulated wires (12), . The individual wires are twisted (15) into pairs, then pairs are twisted together (18). Before the pairs are twisted together to form the cable they are wrapped in a screening tape. The tape is delivered from stock reels (38), feeding the tape into a winder plate (24) along with the pairs to that each pair is wrapped in the screening tape before the pairs are twisted together (18).
