Abstract (en)
The cable consists of a smooth or corrugated solid or stranded inner conductor (1) formed from copper, aluminium or an alloy. A dielectric layer (2) is preferably made from a halogen-free cellular foam formed without crosslinking, and an outer helical strip conductor (3) with punched holes (4). An intermediate layer (5) of preferably crosslinked polymer is extruded or wound on the outer conductor before application of a glass or glass fibre reinforced heat shield (6). The outer sheath (7) is fireproof and is formed without crosslinked halogen.
