Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0779132A1] After driving a plug and sealing it, the plunger (13) is returned rearwardly to the firing position. There is a brake arranged so as to brake the plunger only when it slides in one direction and including at least one braking ball mounted in a recess of the plug guide and arranged so as to be driven radially towards the plunger. It cooperates with the plunger, when it slides in the braking direction. The braking devices are arranged to drive the ball radially towards the plunger upon application of the device and rearward sliding of the plug guide.
