[origin: EP0779403A1] The lock has a latch (2) operated via an electromagnet, or an electric motor, or by a mechanical lock mechanism operated via an inserted key, which can be secured in the locked position via a blocking slider (11). The latter is operated by a control wedge (15) moved parallel to the latch ahead of the reception of the locking bolt by the lock plate. The blocking slider moves perpendicular to the latch for bringing a locking pin into engagement with the latter.
