Abstract (en)
The engine has at least one piston (2) moving in a cylinder (1). The piston is connected via a straight-line movable rod and link with two connecting rods (6,6'). The rods engage on crankshaft journals (7,7') of two crankshafts (8,8'). The crankshafts are connected via a gear (10,10',11) for synchronous rotation in opposite directions. The connecting rods are short, and the path of the links (5) runs through a plane, which forms a common tangential plane of the circular tracks of the crankshaft journals. The connecting rods are only longer than the half piston stroke by a small predetermined amount, preferably by a maximum of 10%. The shortness of the connecting rods is such that when the piston moves the distance of the centres of the connecting links to the plane of the crankshaft axes is less than the radius of the circle, on which the centres of the crankshaft journals are movable.

Eine Kolbenkraftmaschine enthält mindenstens einen in einem Zylinder (1) geführten Kolben (2), der über eine vorzugsweise geradlinig bewegbare Kolbenstange (3) und je ein Pleuelgelenk (5, 5') mit zwei Pleuelstangen (6, 6') verbunden ist. Diese Pleuelstangen greifen jeweils an einem Kurbelwellenzapfen (7, 7') zweier Kurbelwellen (8, 8') an, welche durch ein Getriebe (10, 10', 11) zu synchroner Drehung in entgegengesetzten Richtungen verbunden sind. Eine derartige Kolbenkraftmaschine soll dahingehend ausgebildet werden, daß eine verbesserte Umsetzung des Druckverlaufs im Zylinder in dem Drehmomentenverlauf an der Kurbelwelle und damit insbesondere ein erhöhter Wirkungsgrad erzielt wird. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Pleuelstangen (6, 6') derart kurz ausgeführt sind, daß der Weg der Pleuelgelenke (5, 5') durch eine Ebene (E) verläuft, welche eine gemeinsame Tangentialebene der Kreisbahnen der Kurbelwellenzapfen (7, 7') bildet. <IMAGE>
